Dubai Global Village 20th season: 2015/2016
It’s almost this time of year again for what some call the world’s largest project in tourism, leisure and entertainment. Covering an area of 17,200,00 sq ft, Dubai Global Village attracts over 5 million visitors each year, and it’s coming now for its 20th season, spanning 2015/2016.
It’s an annual festival that brings families and tourists to enjoy performances, exhibitions, food and goods from around the world.
Global village was made especially to be the best entertaining place for different generations. There are international shows, highly professional performers and wonderful special attractions. The fun is is guaranteed for everyone.
What to expect?
In the Global Village, the excitement is in every corner. You will have the opportunity to do different kinds of activities:
- Shopping: Anything you wish to buy will be exposed there for sure. There are over 3,500 shops, more than 36 pavilions, retailers from all over the world. Almost 70 countries from Easterners, Middle East, and Westerners. Handicrafts, pret a porter, fabrics and gifts from different cultures will be presented.
- Dining: There are 26 restaurants serving tasty international food. All of them are directed by the most famous chefs from all over the world. Italian, Asian, Arabic, Spanish… All the cuisines are available with perfect services.
- Entertainment: Over 50 fun rides: The fantasy Island, illumination world, with the Abra ride and the train ride. You will have a great time there especially for kids!
