So, where to go in Barcelona?

 

Las Ramblas:

It is Major Avenue of the city, it is considered as the Champs Elysee of Barcelona. It goes from Plaza Catalunya to the statue of Christopher Columbus in the sea. There is a large central footpath and two roads that run along. You will find restaurants, kiosks, artists, all kind of shops and street vendors. Day and night this avenue is very busy. At the center of the las Ramblas is the famous Boqueria market. All specialties of the region are there: sausages, fruits and vegetables, fish and delicious smoothies. It is a place rich of flavors and colors. Note that the Boqueria market is closed on Sundays.

The Creueta Del Coll Park

Creueta Del Coll offers a lot of trails to explore. Families with children come here to picnic and swim in the large semicircle pool.

The Güell Park:

A scene from the movie “Spanish Apartment” was filmed here which makes it very popular, especially for lovers. The original architecture of the buildings, which are covered with mosaics, will take you to the nature.

These two parks are a must see as they have a beautiful view of the city of Barcelona, facing the sea.

The Church Sagrada Familia:

The Sagrada Familia cathedral will surely amaze you. On the one hand, for its originality with its colorful fruit cups at the top and animals that decorates the fronts, on the other hand, for its large size and high number of visitors. It is the most visited monument in Spain and was declared by UNESCO Heritage in 2005.
