Obama to raise Airline passenger fee?

This is bad news for both airlines and travelers in the united states, with the new proposed budget proposal by President Obama putting the majority of aviation security cost per passenger on the passenger him self. Currently, a passenger pays between $2.5 and $5 for a trip, which the Obama administration says covers only 36% of the cost.

Airlines them selves are against this ruling, as it will affect their sales eventually and limit their ticket price. The new rule, if approved, will be effective in 2012.
