Alaska Airlines seems to be taking a new path in their way of offering customer discounts. Rather than traditional milage discounts, Alaska Airlines are seeking new innovate and more personal discounts, such as discounts on your birthday or based on your personal interests. Alaska Airlines is also investigating new ways to make traveler’s experience better in case of travel cancellation, like last Christmas snow storms. Alaska wants travelers to be able to select new flight online rather than through the long ticket counter queue.
