Citadel Hotel Kandy – Sri Lanka
The magnificent location and view of the 3 star hotel on the shimmering Mahaweli River is not why I have picked this hotel today. It’s an email I received sometime back that this restaurant seems to serve a $14,500 dessert shown below.
The reason for the price comes from the fact that there is a real diamond with the cake, and you get to keep it ofcourse. So technically, the cake it self is not expensive. The dish is :).
